By purchasing or signing up for services through our website, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by this Service Agreement with Scoop Ease LLC (“Company”). All plan types — Two Times A Week, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, and One-Time Cleanup — are governed by these terms.

1. Services Provided

• Scoop Ease LLC provides residential pet waste collection and removal from the Customer's yard per the selected plan: Two Times A Week, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, or One-Time Cleanup.
• Service frequency, coverage area, and number of pets are confirmed at enrollment. Standard pricing covers up to two (2) dogs and yards up to 1/8 acre; a monthly supplemental fee applies for each additional dog beyond two, scaled to service frequency (currently +$5/mo per dog for Monthly, +$10/mo per dog for Bi-Weekly, +$20/mo per dog for Weekly, and +$40/mo per dog for Two Times A Week — each charged as a flat monthly amount rather than per visit. Example: a 4th dog on the Weekly plan adds $40/mo total, being two dogs beyond the two included. One-Time Cleanups are charged +$5 per dog beyond two, charged once), and properties larger than 1/2 acre will be quoted individually based on size and layout.
• Specific service times are not guaranteed. Service may occur at any point during the scheduled service day.
• Service days are assigned based on routing efficiency and geographic area. While we do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences, specific service days cannot be guaranteed.
• Service covers accessible yard areas only. Heavily cluttered, flooded, or unsafe areas may be skipped at technician discretion.
• While we strive for thoroughness, some waste may be missed due to tall grass, dense ground cover, or weather conditions.
• Properties with excessive pet waste buildup may require additional time, additional charges, or an initial cleanup fee before recurring service can begin.
• Collected waste is bagged and placed in the Customer's own trash bin. If the Customer's bin is not stored in an accessible outdoor location, waste will be left at a drop-off location mutually agreed upon by the Customer and Scoop Ease LLC at enrollment.
• Following each completed visit, Company will send Customer a text notification confirming service is complete, including a photo showing the yard gate in a closed position, or, for properties without a gate, a photo confirming the yard is secure.

2. Billing & Payment Terms

• Recurring plans are billed monthly in advance. One-time cleanups are due at or before time of service.
• Accepted methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other method agreed upon in writing.
• A $10 late fee applies to invoices unpaid after 7 days. If payment is not received within 14 days of the due date, recurring service may be paused, visits skipped, or the account terminated until the balance is paid in full. Scoop Ease LLC reserves the right to require prepayment before resuming service.
• Accounts more than 30 days past due may be referred to a third-party collections service. Customer agrees to reimburse reasonable collection costs to the extent permitted under Ohio law.
• Rates are subject to change with 30 days' written notice to the Customer.

3. Cancellation, Skipped Services & Holiday Closures

• Customer may cancel at any time with fourteen (14) days’ written notice to the Company. No cancellation fee and no long-term contract. Billing stops at the end of the current billing cycle following the notice period.
• If a visit is skipped due to a locked gate, unsafe conditions, or an unrestrained/aggressive pet, that visit will not be rescheduled, refunded, or credited, and the Customer's regular billing is unaffected. Service resumes on the Customer's next regularly scheduled visit, which will address any waste accumulated since the last completed service. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure gate access and to secure unrestrained or aggressive pets prior to each scheduled visit.
• Visits skipped due to severe weather, dangerous conditions, or other circumstances outside the Company's control are not refunded or credited. Service resumes on the next regularly scheduled visit.
• Scoop Ease LLC does not provide service on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If a scheduled visit falls on one of these dates, service resumes on the next regularly scheduled visit with no refund or credit issued.

4. Additional Fees

• The following are billed in addition to the Customer's regular plan rate: cleaning or sanitizing pet waste from decks, patios, or sidewalks ($5/visit); waste removal from rock or pebbled landscaping beds ($3/visit); and excessive wait time caused by the Customer ($5/visit). Visits skipped due to a locked gate, unsafe conditions, or an unrestrained pet are not eligible for a dedicated return visit (see Section 3).

5. Access & Property Requirements

• Customer must ensure safe, unlocked yard access on scheduled service days. If a gate is locked upon arrival, service will be skipped for that visit.
• Pets must be secured indoors during service. Technicians may decline to enter if an aggressive or unrestrained pet is present.
• The Company is not liable for pet escape if the gate was found unlocked, open, or damaged prior to the Company's arrival.
• Customer must notify the Company of known yard hazards (e.g., holes, broken glass, bee activity) before service begins.
• If Customer's trash bin is not stored outdoors, Customer must designate an accessible drop-off location at enrollment. If no accessible bin or agreed drop-off location is available on a scheduled service day, the Company may leave bagged waste in the nearest reasonable location or, at its discretion, treat that visit as inaccessible.

6. Photos & Marketing Use

• Technicians may take before-and-after photos and video of the serviced yard area for service verification, quality control, training, and dispute resolution. These records are for internal, operational use.
• Unless Customer opts out as described below, Customer grants Scoop Ease LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use before-and-after photos and video of the serviced yard area in the Company's marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to its website, Google Business Profile, social media accounts, advertisements, and other print or digital materials, in any medium now known or later developed.
• The Company will exercise reasonable care to avoid publishing images that show the Customer's face, house numbers, mailboxes, license plates, or other personally identifying features. Customer acknowledges that inadvertent, incidental appearance of such features cannot be fully guaranteed, and that Customer's sole remedy in that event is removal of the image upon request as described below, not monetary damages.
• Customer may opt out of marketing use at any time by emailing the Company. Opting out does not affect the service-verification photos described above. Upon request, the Company will discontinue future marketing use of Customer's property and remove any previously published marketing image identifiable to Customer's property within 30 days.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Scoop Ease LLC carries general liability insurance and performs all services with reasonable professional care.
• The Company is not liable for pre-existing property damage, pet injury or escape caused by conditions not created by the Company, or damages resulting from Customer's failure to disclose hazards.
• The Company is not liable for incidental wear to lawns or landscaping (e.g., minor foot-traffic wear) resulting from the normal, reasonable performance of service.
• The Company's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the most recent service period, to the maximum extent permitted under Ohio law.
• Customer agrees to hold Scoop Ease LLC harmless from third-party claims arising from conditions on Customer's property or Customer's breach of this Agreement.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute not resolved informally within 30 days may be submitted to binding arbitration in the county where service is provided. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Electronic Acceptance

By clicking “I Agree,” completing signup, or purchasing services through our website, Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Service Agreement. No physical signature is required. This online acceptance constitutes a valid, legally binding electronic agreement under the Ohio Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (ORC § 1306) and the Federal E-SIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.). These terms are effective as of the date Customer completes signup or purchases services.
